1. Using Cutra

These terms govern the Cutra website, desktop app, and browser extension, a Fluit product. By using Cutra, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you must be authorized to accept them on its behalf. You must be legally able to enter this agreement, or use Cutra with a parent or guardian’s approval.

2. Your content and permissions

You are responsible for the videos and audio you access, download, edit, or share. Only use content when you have the necessary rights and permissions and your use complies with applicable law and the source platform’s terms. Cutra does not grant copyright licenses or make third-party content royalty-free.

Do not use Cutra to bypass access restrictions, DRM, or other protections; infringe rights; distribute unlawful content; compromise systems; or resell access to the service. YouTube is an independent service: its Terms of Service also apply. Cutra is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube.

3. Your license

A purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive license to use Cutra on one active Mac under these terms. You can deactivate that Mac through your Polar purchase portal before moving the license to another Mac. You may use it in your own commercial workflow, subject to the rights in your source content. You may not redistribute Cutra or sell license access without permission. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licenses.

“Lifetime” means a one-time license for the purchased Cutra product, with future updates released for that product included. It does not promise that every operating system, source website, or third-party service will be supported forever. Existing local files remain yours to manage.

4. Trial, payments, and refunds

Cutra offers a seven-day free trial without requiring a payment card. The trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. To purchase, enter your email at checkout. Polar supplies your license key; paste it into Cutra to activate one Mac. You do not need a Cutra account. The price, currency, applicable taxes, and payment terms are displayed at checkout. Purchases are processed through Polar; its checkout terms also apply. The lifetime license does not create a recurring subscription. A promotional code applies only if accepted at checkout; redemption limits and offer terms shown there control the purchase.

We offer a seven-day money-back guarantee. Email [email protected] within seven days of purchase with your order email or receipt and request a refund. Approved refunds return through the payment provider to the original payment method; processing times vary. A refunded license may be deactivated. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

5. Availability and your files

Downloads depend on your device, available storage, connection, and the source platform. Protected, private, restricted, or removed content may not work. We may update Cutra to address bugs, security, or platform changes. Cutra prepares source clips; it does not automatically add captions, reframe footage, or publish finished content. The website demo is illustrative and does not save files to your device. Keep backups of important files; the local library is not a cloud backup service.

6. Accounts and misuse

Keep your sign-in links, tokens, and account access secure. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. We may restrict access for material violations, fraud, or security risks, with notice when reasonable. You can stop using the app at any time and contact us about account deletion.

7. Responsibility and limits

To the extent permitted by law, Cutra is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every source, or a particular time saving. We do not exclude warranties or remedies that the law requires.

To the extent legally permitted, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by unauthorized content use, third-party services, or a failure to back up files. Our aggregate liability arising from Cutra is limited to the amount you paid for it. These limits do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be limited.

8. Changes and disputes

Material changes will be published here with an updated date and, where appropriate, communicated through the app or email. Changes do not remove accrued purchase or consumer rights. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute. Any mandatory protections and courts available to you under applicable law remain available.
