Download Cutra for Mac and install it in Applications. Start with one short selection from a source you have permission to use. Preview the result in the library, organize it in a project folder, and bring the file into your editor. The optional Chrome extension speeds up selection while you watch; the desktop app also works on its own.

Paste link → select moment → save locally → open in your editor

How to save your clip

  1. Open Cutra and paste the original YouTube video URL.
  2. Choose the start and end. Select Video for MP4 or Audio for MP3.
  3. Add any other selections, save, and preview the finished files.

Not yet. The site has a Windows waitlist. The current download is for Mac.
